Precipice
She utters the future in deftly whispered taunts
and sunlight burns beneath her gaze
Darkness circles in hopes of warmth
And in her smile the promise of promise
Power is diverted
and emotion divined
The universe is fearful for her loss
For i will make it pay the cost
Accepted with my flaws
Protected by her hands
Loved beyond the limits
Undeserving am i
Depression freezes ice
Darkness gnaws at light
That single point within me desperate to let go
holds firm within her eyes
