Precious Present
Peace of mind comes if you but know,
Reap joy that fits the present tense;
Etch words that sum this precious show,
Choice can forge wit in common sense;
Indulge your heart true pulse of zest,
Opt to be bold to live love fond;
Urge cheer to start your ample fest,
Success takes hold as feelings spawn.
Pleasure and pain tell of grand thoughts,
Reach with soul craft the affluent way;
End with deep gains in love's sweet spot,
Surprise prompts draft of verse each day;
Embrace the tact of beauty bright,
Note how each act comes from clear sight,
Touch greets the fact that feels so right.
