Joy, precious joy, comes to those who listen to His whisper, embrace His grace, fall beneath His wings with praise that is inspired by faith ~ quote by poet
In her eyes, a spark
Flashing desire, insatiable thirst
For heartfelt laughter,
Joy stirred to life by
Feelings – passions, breathless
Believing the details, hope
Beyond tomorrow,
Before the darkness can rest
Its heavy doubts on a heart
In her smile, music
Speaks on gentle lips, peaceful
Kissing away the anxieties
The memories of dread,
Heart deafening doubt, fear
More potent than the light
Falling soft against the night
In stardust stories, moon
Song, weeping – praying
For the serenity
Embracing spiritual sunrise
In her kindness, wonder
Graceful and inspirational
Like silence raining
Down in torrents, streams
Erasing the mysteries,
Washing away the history
Quieting the floods
Furious floods, flowing
With harshest, most frightening
Moods, sullen – irritable
Resonating, rumbling
With skepticism, disbelief
In her presence, lifetimes
Are grown to believing
Dreaming in the peaceful
Freedom, promising
Joy beyond recognition,
Joy that leaves no suspicion,
Joy that feels like the condition
Met by the heart who listens
To her wisdom, found
By hearing what it is that gives
From the spirit, the joy
That is HIS gift to each believer!
