Precious Childhood Memory
I was all of nine
It was nineteen fifty-nine
Guess who came to town
So handsome, so young
My mom nearly lost her tongue
Guess who came to town
He gave us a speech
with Vision! -- He never preached
Guess who came to town
He was a great man
I shook John Kennedy's hand!
That's who came to town
***********
Cut down in his prime
America's saddest time
A most heinous crime
