Pond of Magic

The pond sparkles, still pristine. Tossing off shoes, socks, shirts and shorts, my sisters and I race each other – giggling school girls once more - to see who will be first to feel again its cool, sweet water on our skin. Fifty years fade away as we relive . . . the magic. Final stanza of "Nature Leading to Magic" - written 2/27/2020 For Gregory R. Barden's Liberum Divisa 5 Poetry Contest

You are so lucky to have such a close relationship with your sisters Andrea. It is a wonderful feeling to share your happiness with siblings. I live way to far away from mine. A tender and sweet poem that I enjoyed. Blessings xxoo

Sounds like a wonderful day you had with your sisters, funny I feel 50 years younger in certain situations with friends, had no siblings, was an only child. Your vivid imagination created a poignant poem. Best of luck in the contest. Hugs and blessings, Jennifer.

Some experiences truly do wipe away all those years and rekindle that magic of youth (for me it’s anytime I see a sea shell on the ground). Best of luck on the contest. Could almost have called this poem “Fountain of Youth” ;)
