Pond of Magic
The pond sparkles, still pristine. Tossing off shoes, socks, shirts and shorts,
my sisters and I race each other – giggling school girls once more -
to see who will be first to feel again its cool, sweet water on our skin.
Fifty years fade away as we relive . . . the magic.
