Poet's Adoration of Nature

As dusk's misty tones awake from silence, darkness fades, as birds gather to rejoice. A beautiful reminder of patience, their sweet melodies give nature her voice. Darkness fades, as birds gather to rejoice, basking in the glory of a new dawn. Their sweet melodies give nature her voice, as they parade, dancing upon lush lawn. Basking in the glory of a new dawn, crystal clear skies sparkle like sapphire gems. As they parade, dancing upon lush lawn, sweet pea stretches its tender verdant stems. Crystal clear skies sparkle like sapphire gems. Sun spreads his warmth in ways only he knows. Sweet pea stretches its tender verdant stems - beside saffron crocus and scarlet rose. Sun spreads his warmth in ways only he knows. Bluebells and ivory lilies enchant - beside saffron crocus and scarlet rose, blossoming like a painting by Rembrandt. Bluebells and ivory lilies enchant. Plethora of petals with vibrant hues, blossoming like a painting by Rembrandt - inspiring a poet's slumbering muse. Plethora of petals with vibrant hues, producing sweet nectar for bumble bees. Inspiring a poet's slumbering muse, as butterflies kiss cherry blossom trees. Producing sweet nectar for bumble bees, the flower garden is heaven on Earth. As butterflies kiss cherry blossom trees, poet's pen adorns nature for her worth. The flower garden is heaven on Earth. A beautiful reminder of patience. Poet's pen adorns nature for her worth, as dusk's misty tones awake from silence.

What a lovely garden tour of sights, sounds and scents, SO! "Indeed "the flower garden is heaven on Earth" and your garden blooms with charming cherry blossoms, butterflies, fat bumblebees and bluebells under clear skies and warm sunshine. Wow! What an amazing pantoum, Silent One. It is a difficult form in itself but to include sprinklings of alliteration, unique rhymes (enchant/Rembrandt) and charming metaphors is a sign of your poetic talent. Your love for Nature shines in the brilliance of your golden verse. I admire and adore Nature too, she is ever my muse! Congratulations for your excellent win in Gina's contest. Warmest wishes my friend.. ~Susan

This poem truly defines you and your love for nature and flowers, i love how you’ve used all those flowers and written such a deep and soulful pantoum that rhymes so well whilst also sticking to syllables. I agree flower garden is heaven on earth and they always remind us to be patient. I find nature healing and always comforting during difficult times too, and your poems do exactly the same. Love this one and well deserved win really. You deserve the recognition, gifted poet congratulations

Beautifully written. The poet's pen adorns nature like a painter's brush on canvas.

This is spectacular writing SO! Normally I find Pantoum's difficult to write and to read, but this flows so efforlessly off the tongue, the repeating lines gives it a lyrical feel which I enjoy. This is another fave of yours for me!

Very beautiful, Si; love the imagery, rhythm. So difficult to write great poetry and yet you post gem after another. I think there is no lack of inspiration when writing about gardens, but I have read many poems on the subject, and few nearly eloquent as this one. Excellent read!

Lovely Silent One. I could see the garden in my mind's eye as I read. I love the garden. My garden is my happy place where I sit on my swing and write or just enjoy in Summer. I like to plant things that encourage butterflies and bees. Great job here. God Bless, JB

Whenever you talk about your garden or flowers in general your soul seems to light up ... and it shows in the words you write. "Sun spreads his warmth in ways only he knows". A standout line. You're really good at the pantoum form ... when I first started writing them, I struggled not editing the repeated lines because I tend to want to tell a story. Hard to do when it keeps circling back (and circles ALL the way back in the end).
