The sun will shine brighter tomorrow When the darkest of nights has cast its spell And we’ve all dreamt that same dream of love and peace Every one intoxicated with the elixir of hope A full moon rising at the sound of midnight Caressing souls on through the whole night long Till shooting stars cast their halo on each one Pages turned and we can rewrite history AP: Honorable Mention 2022 Submitted on June 12, 2018 for contest POEM OF POEMS sponsored by CHARLES MESSINA - RANKED 2ND
