Please Turn Us Loose
We squiggle and we scramble
And we laugh and shake and shout
We holler and we jabber
And we hoot our giggles out
We’re plotting
And we’re planning
And we’re full of
Spit and sauce
We are piling
And we’re smiling
And our mittens
Are all lost
We are the five and six-year-olds
From the kindergarten class.
We squiggle and we wiggle
So you had better let us pass.
We are full of vim and vigor.
We are fully of apple juice.
We are kindergarten students
And you would do well to turn us loose.
