Please
Your eyes are constantly searching
Almost depreciatively,
To understand me in every little detail
Please, do not decide it in your mind,
That you have figured me out fully
I will crush your sureties in a second
I will bend my way out of your grasping hands
I will demand you look deeper
To gaze with an open heart,
To value this truth in light
You are a mischievous observer,
Playful, pleasure-ridden, often self-seeking
You are often a taker, giving to gain
And I share knowingly, not at all fooled
If you think for a moment you know me,
I will shock you
Then I will disappoint you,
Reminding you that what I am
Will not satisfy, and was never meant to gratify
