I feared you might shun my embrace, and the way my arms hold you tight. But, I caught a glimpse of your face and was reassured all was right. Sharing a smile, hearts on trial. And I saw you increase your pace, not letting me out of your sight. And my heartbeat began to race as we rendezvous late at night. With hopes refreshed, desires meshed. (Posie) 8/7/2018
