Oh yes the land fill will be over-run by plastic bones soon. Rejected and not respected and not one story to tell. Love your poem Sara, a thoughtful look into the future. Well done. Best wishes Wen.

thank you, Wendy, for your visit and kind words. Yep, those landfills will be filled with that stuff...I assume most of it isn't recyclable. sigh

Ahh!! I like this one. Some people seem to be totally into those cell phones. Constantly in touch with someone or something. Thanks for sharing this one with us and for dropping by my page. Sara K

Yes, I have seen couples out at a restaurant together in line waiting and they are talking to each other on the phone. LOL..Sara K

thanks, Sara K. I know many folks who have their cell phones by their sides 24/7--like an addiction almost. I prefer listening and talking to the trees :-) hugs, Sara B

Bark indeed tells a life story if we listen. I see and feel the contrast you wish to convey, Sara.

Thanks Sara. It seems we have a love hate relationship with our phones. I was in the cellular phone business since it’s infancy. The first handheld phones cost $6000.00 and it was 95 cents a minute to make a call.

wow, thanks for that historical perspective. Seems as if we've come a long way; true--the relationship with a cell phone is a love/hate one. I love the convenience but don't like the cost nor the unwanted intrusion in my life (via spam, etc.)

thank you, Victor. I agree...some of the devices, although convenient, are a bit annoying. :-)

Plastic will never be nature, though it may litter it. I enjoyed the environmental slant to this poem. Photograph is beautiful.

gosh, me too. I rarely use my cell phone...not attached to it 24/7 like many folks. We don't have a landline because it's cost prohibitive. So I use my phone (even though it's expensive) for making appointments and occasionally calling family and friends. I'm not a 'talker.' Glad you enjoyed the poem.

Trees are good for the environment too, which can’t be said for a cel phone, love your Kimo write Sara. Blessings, Beryl

Well if there’s a Forest Fire, the trees might appreciate a call to the local fire department.;0) Sorry I couldn’t resist. I know what you are saying.

I would pick a tree over a cel anytime, unless it was an emergency of grand capacity lol, thanks for the awareness, I can feel the tree smiling at you :)
