Pizza and I
~ Pizza and I ~
Have a decades old relationship!
I sit here this morning, simply craving it.
Can I order pizza at seven in the morning?
All vegetarian, I can see crimson tomatoes bubbling.
Perhaps with added fresh garlic, ground.
Onions gleaming, green peppers, too.
On a red and white, checkered plate, will it lie.
Just me, French coffee, my aromatic pizza.
Under a peaceful,summer California sky.
