Pieces of Dreams

*Dedicated to a kind friend: She gives me hope, something to see On this road I am on, ahead of me Bringing some light, in clouds of gray As I try to move foward and find my way I watch the lively hummingbird fly Humming along as the days go by Hoping to hover along with such ease Someday with simplicity to please For now, I hold onto hope she gives Knowing she's right, something that waits Out there to welcome me, with all my traits Heidi Sands 5/19/19

Hummingbirds fascinated me as a child, I was always getting stung by a bee or wasp because I'd try to catch the hummingbirds that were around our forsythia bushes. A lovely, tranquil pen.
