Picnic
Best day of summer vacation is going on an all day picnic at a local park or the nearby woods.
You wake up really early, in the morning, to gather all of your picnic gear.
You will need blankets (for sitting on the grass), some outdoor games (like Frisbee and Tetherball) and of course you need to pack enough food for lunch & some midday snacks.
Once everything is packed up and put into the car, then it is time to hit the road.
Everyone is super excited about the picnic, because it is a day just for fun & sun.
When you go on a picnic, you can spend the entire day just having fun with family and friends.
You get to play games, swim in the local pool or lake (if you are in the woods), go on a nature hike or just take time to sit back, read a book and enjoy the nature surrounding you.
The best part about going on a picnic is the freedom you feel from everyday life.
Freedom of taking off your shoes, walking barefoot and just enjoying all the good things that life has to offer.
