Perhaps She'Ll Fly

She crept about the darkness of my bedroom late at night, Lurking from corner to corner While the stars frozen in the Heavens panicked and whispered wicked talk to one another, Hearsay of something Earth shattering down where the people lay; And with closed eyes and a throbbing ribcage She spoke sweetly into my soul, and Sucked up all that I was through her burning nostrils, Leaving me a glass-eyed, hollow chested corpse Having fallen victim to an unlikely death, And finally she is where I was. I spend less than little time wondering about who the superior of the two was; I'm rather preoccupied with how weightless it feels to finally rest.
