Perfect Poise, with head and heart in balance Cave within heart, Quay for hermit’s Penance Being stillness, shutting off thought borne noise Faint of heart Quiver, path not for bourgeois Pure hearts alone, hark to voice of conscience Free from all taint, joy throb Quaint, love parlance Suffused with Perfume of pure innocence No Quandary, as soul, Gods gifts enjoys Perfect Poise Stillness ushers self, in void of silence Magnetic currents felt through sentience Aura gold Platinum in equipoise Allured not to fleeting ego borne ploys Forging with God, a loving alliance Perfect Poise 07-February-2021 Written for: Mind your P’s and Q’s poetry contest Employing the words: Penance Poise Perfume Platinum Quay Quiver Quandary Quaint Sponsor: Michelle Faulkner
