~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ How the stars are placed in ordnance so perfectly in the sky, I think of who created them and all the reasons why. Besides the science of the universe, there must be a poetic side, an artist much more articulate than you and I. I sometimes watch them for hours at a time, hoping to see a shooting star to wish away the pain held inside. How beautifully the sunlight disappears into the darkness of night and how miraculously the next morning returns the light. A reoccurring circulation that every day I watch arise. Every day I see it happen, but only recently did I realize. It's human nature, it seems, to let this beauty pass me by. I hardly ever take the time to admire the art that stands before my eyes. A perception that is only seen through the vision of the old and wise, in knowing there's something bigger than what I see on the outside.
Nice... Better than smelling the roses every day, if you ask me. ~ Star-struck, but not much on perfume.
Sara, if you stop looking at the sky, we have a lot in common. We look out there waiting for answers. That's beautifully written. You certainly been touched with the magic wand. Love/María
My dear friend Sara, your poem encourages readers to pause, observe, and appreciate the profound beauty present in the natural world. It serves as a reminder to look beyond the surface and recognize the deeper, often overlooked, layers of artistry that surround us. The language is contemplative, and the themes are relatable, making it a thought-provoking and engaging piece...
Oh!! If we only knew, God designed the world then made man. He designed the world for us to enjoy so even the shape of flowers, the number of petals on them and so many other things are enjoyed by man because God then made man's eyes where they are able to interpret the designs. Happy, happy birthday. I hope this is the best one up to this point in your life and may each one that follows be awesome. Sara K
Quite a thought provoking verse Sara, It's only as we get older do we begin to try and take a closer look at things and try to understand the miracles we see before our eyes. Tom
Sometimes i read the scriptures of God and think to myself, God must be a Poet too, so poetic, and when we look around , see Gods creations we see nothing but art, so beautifully and so inspiring. Your opening lines especially resonate with me because i am the same and these thoughts run through my head too. I always love reading your delicate yet deep poems. Sending you light today and always. I just posted a saraku. :D hopefully sara would approve: hope your birthday went well too.
what insightful words, Ink...I agree, God must surely be a poet and an artist. When I pause, the majesty of his creation astounds me. I'm glad the opening lines resonated with you. I appreciate your kindness...will look for you 'saraku' Thanks, too, for the birthday wishes. Had a fabulous birthday. Have a great evening, Sara
Quite wonderful to read, Dear Sara! Numerous items are taken for assumption. Hidden in the splendor of nature on numerous occasions. We rarely ponder the individual responsible for the universe's magnificent design. By adopting a more comprehensive or idealistic viewpoint, it becomes possible to discern the true creator of everything and extol God's magnificence.
thanks for your visit and comments, Sotto. You've summed up my poem nicely...and I agree, I don't often enough ponder the magnificent design of the universe...but it's all there, inside my home and just outside my office window. Have a pleasant day, your poetess friend in Texas, Sara
Beautifully written dear Sara! We take many things for granted. The beauty of nature often passes us unnoticed. We never bother to think who orchestrated the universe in such a marvelous way. If we see things from the right or larger perspective, we will be able to find out the real architect behind everything and sing of His glory. Enjoyed reading your poem, dear Sara.
thanks for your comments about my poem. I sometimes forget who 'orchestrated' all that's around me--both inside my home and outside my window. When I do notice, I'm at peace. Thanks for your mindful words...have a blessed day, Sara
