Peek-A-Boo - My Spokenword
Listen to poem:
The secret of my surprise
could it be in my demise
I fear not because I am not Afraid
I -I am not dismayed
By the secrets unknown
Though they crave my fears NO
HARDENING my desires my heart beats less
So soft is it and I feel the presence
Of It this the unknown WHOSE
I shall not be discarded or thrown
I stand and trust and with a sword and a shield
I weld I shall not be compelled WHOSE
To run for in running I will fall
I fell as I peek out the window sill
Out the corner of a curtain I fear not
A thing yet I'm aware that something is there WHERE CAN'T SEE A THING
But I can't see with my eye natural or spiritual
so I won't call it out it's untrue as I stand facing west
I turn around I feel it's presents
That I choose not to for in the darkness as my light
So shines on it ever presents
It's dawning it is I hear the sounds of peekaboo
I see fear incarnate and it's looks it screams at me
The demon clutches and screams hello humanity fool
PEEK-A-BOO
