Peach Colored Sunrises
My heart aches for our country
Everything we can be and are not
People turning on each other instead
We watch endless tragedies, people dead
We need to unite and believe we can
--- We are the people of this land ---
Hatred fuels hatred, fuels violence
This is living in some kind of horror movie
Then, waking up to peach colored sunrises
--- People are not even willing to see ---
