Peaceful Valley
I wonder
The length and breadth
The roads
In and out
Trying to find
That peaceful Valley
But none
Where I look
Match what I see
Equal the feeling
Of those visions
That is
My peaceful valley
Those misty mountains
I seek
That simple life
I yearn to live
Is just beyond
My grasp
Are these visions
From before
Or through
The next door
Is that
I cannot say
So wonder more
The length and breadth
These roads
Of in and out
Searching
Yearning
For
My peaceful Valley
My peaceful heart
My dreamless night
