Richard Lamoureux Poet Quatrain

Peace River

When my life
Is filled with grief
When I question
my belief

Peace River 
come to me
Flow from heaven 
set me free

From on high
to dark valley 
Crystal pure
a gift from Thee

Give me rest
from my toil
Nourish flowers
Feed parched soil

Peace River
sooth my eyes
A remedy
for earthly lies

Living water
brings me rest
A gift from God
that’s truly blessed.

Look into my eyes
There you will see
That river flows
inside of me.
