One must be passionate if to write effectively and more honest with passion the less one will write merely affectively memorable poets also wrote genuflectively expressing dear reverence to God who gave man a lyrical heart with great option for love....

Interesting thought my dear friend... I think we can write without passion as many of us do write about certain things with which we do not have a strong connection, however, we do write more passionately about things that are closer to home. so to say..

Of course; as you say, every work does not need to be a masterpiece. I enjoy all creative writing, especially light verse. Passion helps compose works that live on, stir and infect the mind with thoughtful introspection and a greater sense of spiritual effervescence.
