Party Folk
PARTY FOLK
Party people are they.
Or party folk as you say:
Group of aliens from some other planet
came in array.
By appearance not exact human beings
Yet they looked alike like siblings.
Also, they resembled us to some extent.
but considered me as non-existent.
Anyway, they assembled, made fun.
But ignored me as if Me be none.
Me lone, siting on swing at my garden
at turquoise tranquil night to mourn
in melancholic mood.
They didn’t give me any recognition.
They rejoiced with full attention.
They drank, sang, danced
laughed loud, pranced.
I glanced and sat indolent as dumb witness.
At dawn they left my garden
all on a sudden.
