The minichu is a favorite form of mine, difficult isn't it. The moon is generous to poets, so many beautiful poems written in it's honor, like yours, Paige. :):)

SO, I have to ask after reading this, was this lovely poem brought about by a moonlit walk through the corn at some point? I know I take a few each year (During the growing season also just before harvest) This is so well worded! I have often though of the leaves as a song writer or singer. Especially when the Cicadas are humming strong in July and August. What a wonderful poem to invoke my happy memories. THANK YOU SO MUCH!! A.S.

Hey there, friend! The new moon's invisible vibes are felt by the cornfield. That's what I meant- this is about a new moon and moods invoked by it- and my own mood. Kinda dark... thanks for your feedback. <3 Hugs -

Dear Paige, I loved how you beautifully captured the ethereal dance of emotions tied to the lunar cycle. The imagery of growth and longing invites reflection on life’s quiet transformations. Your words evoke a sense of mystery and connection to nature that lingers long after reading. Autumn Blessings, My Dear Friend, Daniel

I don’t always understand what you write but can feel the mood. I enjoy the wording nevertheless. Hugs ~ Kim

I wrote lunar ring, in place of a mood ring one wears- "dark mood" and the poem followed suit...or at least, I tried, lol. The images are supposed to make you feel that a new moon is still there. Sometimes I also feel invisible...like a new moon- because of the dark mood in me that I sometimes feel, I guess. Hugs, Kim! Thank you for your feedback.
