Palm Trees For The Holidays

Salt lands cool as a snowflake on pale skin as it connects the dots on my shoulder; I am not fond of winter tradition lighting up when the weather is warmer; I dreamt of Florida in five below the sweet scent of coconut and the sea; Bonfire sparkles mixed with a sunset glow, as soft waves fade to black delicately; A crown of ice becomes tears in my eyes the temperature fits a short sleeve shirt; My heart erupts now I’m in paradise, it is so lovely my soul starts to hurt; Finding home is never a passing phase, now I’ve got palm trees for the holidays.
