Pain In a Glimpse
Long was my time of lovingly witnessing her fearless charms
swiftly seeding smiles, gathering envy and softening bristly.
Then, intrusion of quick insist, in shadowed shift, gave glimpse
of her facial expression failing her known impression and lilt.
Flash lit sad scripts of clarity, pained my pity-eyes adrift.
False strength was diffidence exposed, clothed in bold disguise
and maintained by pathetic tries to admire herself in other’s eyes.
