Pain Cuts

Pain cuts deep: Even in sleep Wit can bleed, Pain loiters deep. Nerves feel raw: A twisted feel Pain shows flaw, Can such wounds heal? Odd cold pain: Flavours refrain Yet again, An old wound strains. My arm feels: A stabbing pain Hijack will, Hurl hurting train. Raw nerves grip: I feel pain twist A mad trip; Hurt beyond gist. Drenched in vain: I embrace pain In sight plain, Humbly bear pain. Hurts now surge: Old nerves feel pain Sparks emerge, A burning strain. Leon Enriquez 09 December 2017 Singapore
