What is your excuse for not writing today? Come now, is it…“my Muse has gone away?” Or …the feeble.” I just have no inspiration?” A feeble excuse for a lack participation. Exactlu. I unferstand people have illness or heavy worl loads..i was simply addessing the ones who blame Muses.. it swas a simple srarement, i no lomger looj at poetry that is is somehind I must do daily or else.thats goofy. Nobody writes a great oem daily, it mayy be good , yes. Great No.thats how I see myself. Pangie

Its an OK poem, I guess…but I expect far betterof myself. I am very hard on my work Speaking of the three Stooges…do you mean, Mayorcass,l Blinken, and El Presidente of Mexico? Pangie ~

Regina. I wish that I could feel the way that you do about my poetry.. I’m terribly hard on my self. That is very stupid of me because I get in trou comparing myself to other writers and thinking they’re way better and I’m far less. That’s ridiculous! That old saying from the Popeye cartoon is the best. “I am who I am and that’s all that I am.” Happy new year to you, my friend and thank you.. Pangie

I need to read your poem daily! It’s uplifting and inspiring. Since I have been practicing playing piano my poetry seems to suffer. That’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it! lol Love this and it’s a fav

Now, Karen! Please do not berate yourself! Poetry, in Greece sung or recited orally !Tthe more you read other FAMOUS writers and play piano, the better your poetry gets (my mentor, the author of 87 books plus writing for a newspaper told me that. I post less than I actually write))) the point is..simply to write as the imahe said to do. I got over posting 10 a day! It takes 9 years to be a substantial poet. I’m not even near that.. just do my best. New Year’s wishes to you. Hugs, Pangie

I like your cues on getting the flow going. Also, an apt pic and quote above. Would writing a check with a fictional amount on it count, lol. I guess writing silliness(mine about the check) still counts as writing?

Roflmau. Writing or kiting a check with NSF ffunds can be pricey in the end! BTW, I have a passion for that image. I think it’s so dang true it’s almost silly to even post it.. but there are many here who have all kinds of excuses,)) the less we write the less we .learn. And I realize we have limits of one kind or another. . Ajways fun to gear from you,Dave…Pangie
