Kind of reminds me of 'Cogito ergo sum' by Descartes; a lot of thought regarding existence summarized by a very pithy statement. I appreciate your thought-provoking write, David, and congratulate you for your POTD ~ John

Thank you John, it would resonate with the ‘therefore I am’ logic but I try to push it a bit further here, It’s in no way meant to discount peoples religious beliefs, I gave a little more insight to my logic in the comment to Tommy below, of course people can pick holes in it, cheers David

Thank you Gershon, in a nutshell, I believe we can only live through other peoples deaths, our own death is simultaneous with our birth in eternity, just my belief, I came from oblivion and will go back to oblivion, and if it was overcome once, why not a billion trillion times, cheers David

Indeed Gary, I contemplate the same issue, and my reality is there is no state of mind before or after, so whatever happens is instantaneous, time will not have any meaning, we can only measure other peoples death because we’re alive, and I believe we always seem alive inside an eternity from our own perspective, I know it sounds crazy, my monoku is designed as an equation if you like, thank you for stopping by, cheers David

lol, just noticed autocorrect interpretation of my intention, my “neurons” were going nova! When I was a kid, pre teen, I would lay awake for hours sweating over the contemplation of nothingness. I could not grasp it.
