Outer Beauty
Listen to poem:
In a world consumed by fleeting time,
Where outer beauty reigns, a paradigm,
There is a truth that we often forget:
A beauty deeper than just the skin, I bet.
Such a tree with roots embedded in the ground,
Its branches reaching for the sky are profound.
So too is the beauty of the soul within.
A treasure to be discovered, to begin.
For the outer beauty—oh, how it fades.
Like sand slipping through the hands, it cascades,
But the inner beauty remains untouched.
A flame that forever burns, never hushed.
In pure hearts, the light of beauty shines bright.
A beacon of love, a guiding light,
For it is in those hearts that mirror the divine,
Where true beauty blossoms and forever shines.
No wrinkles or lines
Can dim the radiance that forever aligns,
With a spirit that never ages or wanes,
In the depths of a heart where beauty remains.
