Our New Dog -Re-Edited
Our new dog’s name is Lucy – Lucy Loo.
and I like alliteration so much
the part of “Loo” I simply added to
her Lucy name. Was that a clever touch?
Our dog’s an Aussie and so smart and sweet.
She likes her walks but likes too much to eat,
and always I can tell she wants a treat!
The instant I first saw her dear brown eyes,
Lucy was the dog for us; she's a prize!
There's one bad thing: early she likes to rise!
I like to sing and tell her, “I love you.”
Walking down the streets, as her leash I clutch,
her little name, Lucy Loo, I repeat.
She'll be our new best friend. That's no surprise!
