Orange
Fall is the season for orange –
The pumpkins, the candies, the leaves.
If Nature has chosen this palette,
It’s marvelous what she achieves.
I pepper my wardrobe in autumn
With bright orange sweaters and boots.
I feel so in sync with the foliage,
It’s like Nature and me in cahoots!
In summer, there’s yellow, in winter there’s white
And spring has eruptions of pink;
But nothing compares to the fiery flares
Of the orange in autumn, I think.
