Oppressive Orange
Oppressive, torrid summer eve,
your orange, fiery sunset glow
instills the air with sultry heat
that radiates on earth below.
Such beauty in your orange light;
a flaming heaven 'round our sun.
And yet, your atmosphere bears down
oppressive warmth the sun has spun.
Bright orange sky of pure delight,
a lovely painting for our eyes.
Though spellbound by your glowing light...
distressed by heat from fiery skies.
Oppressive, orange summer sky;
you radiate on earth below
and fill our air with torrid heat...
from orange fire of sunset's glow.
