Open House

some like the pond scum but other ones don't our pond attracted one of those who liked but must not have loved the mentioned above property he was a leopard frog from a simple family finally setting out on his own and so finding what seemed proper property he set to chirping all and everything about what find he found he must have been thinking out loud because his praises were in phrases that made it seem he was living plush and yet his songs we're not enough to have a bikini clad cat frog to join him but then it happened a bullfrog realized the jaded eyes of the lying cat frog stating that that frog was laying in wait for a hapless mate to take his bait so the bullfrog bullied in and our pond became his but this is not where the poem ends because it's a beginning for the winner gets the spoils so did the horned cow frog get his he found no running water algae coming out at the gills and his fill of a French cat that had a taste for frog legs so for all the leopard frogs callings were 911 and the bully bullfrog has not croaked a one single join me hoping he can break the lease

Thanks David, but surely doesn't compare to one of your brilliantly written tales.
