Only Two Eyes
So many places to look, so many things to keep track of; yet I only have two eyes, I can only look one way.
So which way do I look, what becomes my focus? Because the moment I turn away, a tragedy always seems to take place.
"Keep your eyes on the prize" they always say. But I have many prizes, all very important to me. Why can I not just keep track of it all, it does not make any sense. I can not give up because then I will lose myself again, but how can I possibly win so many wars? After all, I am just one man.
I am determined not to lose, I will find some way to keep track of all these things, even though I only have two eyes to see.
