Only Two Eyes

So many places to look, so many things to keep track of; yet I only have two eyes, I can only look one way. So which way do I look, what becomes my focus? Because the moment I turn away, a tragedy always seems to take place. "Keep your eyes on the prize" they always say. But I have many prizes, all very important to me. Why can I not just keep track of it all, it does not make any sense. I can not give up because then I will lose myself again, but how can I possibly win so many wars? After all, I am just one man. I am determined not to lose, I will find some way to keep track of all these things, even though I only have two eyes to see.

Great instrospective write, Matt. So many of us can relate. It helps me when I kind of prioritize...after all we can't do it all. Most often it is the little things that are much more important and meaningful. No one can do it all, so we do what we can and take time to "smell the roses" - something good for the spirit. Thanks for your kind comments. Take care. : ) Annalise
