Only I Will Understand

I can see the big picture like an open pasture, I can see it all clearly… It has always been this way I can see multiple pieces of information In many places at once I can decipher the facts, the truth and significance My mind will absorb this, no matter how bad it is I see things for what they are, as an object would be I translate situations with the facts, my mind cannot ignore But, this is a process many others do not do Leaving me feeling isolated and alone No matter how much I can articulate, My words are often not fully heard or absorbed So, I carry a weight of information, That cannot and will not ever be dismissed For some unknown reason, it is like this Starting as a child, when I could recognize evil at an early age, Prior to the average mind’s maturity to handle I must live with this and find a way to accept it Especially when it often involves things I want to help with As my heart tears apart watching things happen Powerless I am to do more than I can I must praise the moments people acknowledge something No matter how small it is, no matter what it is Pieces of validation that come my way, As if blown by the wind, touching me, reminding me, That I can still fulfill my inner purpose Knowing, only I will understand Heidi Sands 2/10/20
