Only God knows how I feel
When I’m smiling but deep
Inside I feel like crying
When my body is consumed
With pain
But I keep going as if nothing
Is wrong
Trying to stay strong knowing
I cannot do it on my own
Only God can lift me up
When I am down
To comfort me when there is no
One around
Only God can meet me where
I am at and love me like no one else can
Only God can truly understand
