Only Before He Died

He started to ring often. He asked if I was okay; He asked me to visit him; He called me his son; And said I must not say Heita When he greets me. He told me his problems And his future plans. He shouted just like daddies do When I didn't answer his call. He made me smile After twenty-three years of my life; He showed me love Only few days before he died.
