One With Three
When I was the age of three,
I carried a feather, and flew with the birds,
I carried a shell, and was fluid like the sea,
And out in the rain I danced with the trees.
However, when I turned thirty three,
No longer was I one with the birds, sea and trees.
But now, I was just me, me, and me.
Awhile later, I decided to reconnect with the birds, sea and trees,
So I reclaimed my feather, and I soured with the birds,
And I reclaimed my shell, and I became fluid like the sea,
And out in the storm I danced with the mightiest of trees.
No longer, was I me, me and me.
But now, I was one with air, water, and earth.
I was one, with three.
