One Way Path

Riddle with rocks dirt and leaves I walk though times of trouble Expressing no doubt I am lost Running away from the wind Rain pouring down upon me Empty wallet heavy with burden The path I walk leads one way Trouble is all I find at the end Nights are full of pain days the same Traveling down this lost path Scraps of food fill a tin cup Watching others in a window Cold at night cardboard for warmth Park is closed the ally is full my eyes heavy No place for my head to lay Fingers numb feet frozen no socks When will this one way path end?
