Emile Pinet held a contest when I first started on Poetry Soup. Line Gauthier won first place, but she already had won the book, so she got to designate another poet to receive her prize.

I was thrilled when she choose me. When Emile sent me the second book I was pretty

much overjoyed, actually.

Thank you my poetic friend!

I have Emile Pinet’s fine poetry book on my lap today. Do not dare open her, because hooked, I would have to stay Delighting me like no other Except maybe her brother, Sent to me so graciously from Canada, on one wonderful day!

People have been ever so kind to the non-poet who likes to type up stuff fast and hard, throwing it willy nilly into the atmosphere, pretending it is poetry.

Thank you Caren, fate had us meet through the kindness of a mutual friend, I was given the great privilege of connecting with a kind, generous soul that has turned out to be a true friend and a treasure in my life. Sometimes fate takes it into its hands to link two souls in poetry and I'm so grateful for this gift of friendship my friend, Emile.

I am the grateful one. We are snow-bound today, and I am devouring your new book. It is so gently wonderful, a reflection of a terrific friend, and fantastic soul who is in tune with the universe. Another reason for me to thank our mutual friend! So thanks friend, you know WHO you are!
