one of her best days ever
Sarah’s friends are all rushing, rushing, rushing
They rushed to set up all of their decorations
Now they are racing to fix meals for many relatives
They sound frantic, so she does not call them
Sarah has asked her children to enjoy their own families
She wants to stay at home, and enjoy her hobbies
She wants to be selfish, and do what she wants
She likes to take naps, and does not need observers
She walks down to her favorite place
And talks to her husband
She feels he is there,
even though some think he is dead
She knows better
It is a terrific day
Soul-soothing
One of her best days ever
Just her memories,
Her husband,
and nature
soothing her grief
