One nightfall,
fistful of moons ago
A harvest moon
was in full view.
Her hands clasped
around his neck
When he held her close
and kissed her,
time stood still.
All the stars
in the twilight sky
aligned.
The passion
in their eyes, aglow
They foxtrotted;
serenaded
by a hermit thrush.
Lost in nirvana
were they
A nightfall
so magical.
Unforgettable.
