On This Journey

The wind stirs gray colored clouds in the sky Bare trees sway, a few last leaves woven through Winter touched autumn last night, going by Ready to bring snow, paint the landscape new With purity to discern what is true It’s time for transition, color things white Wake up to frosty mornings, born by night It’s time to let go, as leaves have shown me Some things are better when left out of sight On this journey with oh, so much to see Heidi Sands 10/18/22 Placed 2nd in the Dizain Poetry Contest. It's so refreshing to read how much you enjoy the journey, Heidi -- instead of 'Oh, no. Gotta get the shovel out again!' Happy Snowflakes, Gershon

I do enjoy the beautiful sights that open up with bare trees and leaves fallen...and the woodstove too. Oh, and no bugs! Lol. Thank you Gershon :)

Heidi, another poem of winter as it comes making us cold and shivering as it takes the summer away. Nicely done and well expressed. Sending you blessings and a warm hug

Much enjoyed your poem, Heidi--depicting beauty of autumn on the cusp of snow and winter. Much to see in this journey through the seasons as you so well convey. A FAVE for me.

Hello Heidi, it will not be long winter is on the way. I heard the snow is on the way. I dread winter. I only like the first snowfall. I do not like the rest. Hugs.
