On This Journey
The wind stirs gray colored clouds in the sky
Bare trees sway, a few last leaves woven through
Winter touched autumn last night, going by
Ready to bring snow, paint the landscape new
With purity to discern what is true
It’s time for transition, color things white
Wake up to frosty mornings, born by night
It’s time to let go, as leaves have shown me
Some things are better when left out of sight
On this journey with oh, so much to see
