On the Edge of the Precipice

We stand on the edge of a precipice and most of the time we keep our eyes trained on the horizon where we can see across to our loved ones to moments of joy happiness contentment. Sometimes we lose our energy and our gaze turns downward into the chasm of despair pain and loneliness. At those times we have to close our eyes and summon the courage to go on, to find the strength within us to continue and once again lift our eyes toward hope in the future.

The majority of people get though life, but a significant number will not, due to mental illness, and the abuse of drugs and use of booze which is a depressant. Add growing Fascism, and its depressing. I will speak out against evil, always. Censoring writers is what Hitler did.it exists now in almost all countries. A greatpoemm. Sara, good evening. I think the content of this poem is very powerful. That's a poem with wings to fly high. Poignant, deep touching that wakes up every sense and feeling. Very comforting empowering words these are beautiful sara, whenever i turn to your page i feel the light of your sincere heart emanating through words. You have a very maternal touch in your words for me, your words inspire and empower me.
