On Saying 'sorry'

A flip "sorry" sometimes comes with a smirk Like, in truth, they meant what they said, But they needed to cover their tracks, so, They used a half-hearted cliche instead. Lest this smart retort returns to haunt me And Karma rains on me my just due I cover my tracks with a faint admission That sometimes I really don't have a clue.
