Hello Panagita, Yes I agree people are fixing themselves instead of accepting themselves the way they are. Yes they should enjoy themselves . It is sad that they are seekikng approval from other people. That is so sad. that people are that way. Hugs. /darlene/xxx

Dear friend, Darlene!people go off their rockers if they go over the edge on this point. Accepting who we are,as is, is a high form of wisdom. Spending our lives constantly thinking we must change comprises much of Western thought ……..people are constantly fixing thenselves, instead of enjoying who they are, they live in the mode of mentally ” fixing themselves up “and seeking the approval of others. It is an inner rat race! Quieted only by approval from others. Pangie xx.

A very truthful observation, dear Pangie. There can be big disappointment if one is always seeking adulation. The literary world, just like sports, entertainment, academia, etc., has many crestfallen people. Just do your best and enjoy your own dancing, singing, art, writing, athleticism, etc., and don't always have to compete to be a winner. ~ xoxx

I alwayds do my best, and you know I compete. I dont want to be mumber one in number of poems published nor top commenter…i can only take pietry for so lomg in a day. There is a life to live..as you know I care deep,y about our country and Israel. Both countries made out to be world villains, what lies. I do enjoy life…. Pangie xx
