On Halloween - Monotetra
On Halloween the children play,
Dressed in fun costumes they sashay,
Through neighborhoods at dusk of day,
They make their way, they make their way.
Pirates and faeries, witches too,
Zombies and cats meet Scooby-Doo,
Darth Vader, Yoda, ghosts that boo,
Displayed for you, displayed for you.
"Trick or Treat," all the children cry,
Their eyes so bright, excitement high.
When bowls of candy they do spy,
They are not shy, they are not shy.
And when their sacks are full of treats,
Their parents lead them off the streets.
At home they're tucked beneath their sheets.
Next year repeats, next year repeats.
