On a Cliff Top High
Lie still upon a cliff top high,
Gaze upon a star studded sky,
Diamonds of light round a crescent moon,
Perfect white in a jet black night.
Lie still upon a cliff top high,
Aphrodite and Adonis soon pass by,
They go to hide in their secret place,
A lovers tryst to make your heart race.
Lie still upon a cliff top high,
Gazing down on the azure sea,
Waves roll in to fade and die,
Upon the rocks with a gentle sigh.
