Notes About The Poem

Sing it at an up-tempo pace.  You know the tune...

Old Mcdonald

Old McDonald had a car
  Ha-ha hardy-har-har
And in his car he had some coke
  Ho-ho, what a dumb bloke

With a snort-snort here
  And a snort-snort there
Here a snort, there a snort
  Everywhere a snort-snort

Old McDonald snorted coke
But the cop who was with him
    He took a long toke

Entertaining material, Gershon, especially the end twist! To be fair (and on the safe side) the end line could be referring to both cannabis or tobacco. Regards // paul

Ha, ha. I can't even take a drop of alcohol, let alone go off doing cannabis... Freedom for me is sobriety... To each his own. :) gw

Oh, that last line quite unexpected, very daring of you!

I think that perhaps you're spot on here, Michelle. For me this is, indeed, very daring... Thanks for pointing it out. Appreciated. :) gw
